Farizon returns to GREENFLEET EV Rally to prove real-world range of the all-electric V7E

Taking place over five days, the Rally will depart from Exeter in Devon and visit checkpoints across the UK, heading north to Newcastle upon Tyne before travelling south to the finish line at EVerything Electric Greater London, taking place in Twickenham, London.

The Rally organisers will load the four Farizon SVs with event materials as they travel ahead of the participating teams to ensure checkpoints are ready for their arrival. Perfectly equipped for the job, the SV swallows up to 13m³ of cargo, is rated to haul a payload of up to 1,350kg, and is easy to load thanks to an extra-low floor just 550mm above ground level. With an innovative payload monitoring system available as standard (excluding the Core model), the van comes in a variety of body heights and lengths and battery sizes from the smallest L1H1 available with a 67 or 83 kWh battery to the largest L3H3 with an 83 or 106 kWh battery.

As well as being the Official Logistics Partner, this year ‘Team Farizon’ will join the Rally in the all-new V7E medium van, which was launched earlier this year at the Commercial Vehicle Show. Two of the 67kWh variants will travel around the country showcasing up to 204 miles of range (WLTP combined) to familiar faces from across the fleet and commercial vehicle sectors. With prices starting at £28,000*, the V7E harnesses the same highly efficient born-electric platform as the bigger SV, but in a nimble, urban-focused package. The V7E offers 6.95m3 cargo capacity and payload of up to 1,338kg. When needed, a 20-80 per cent top-up will take the team as little as half an hour.

Last year, the GREENFLEET EV Rally included all three versions of the Farizon SV among several electric cars as it criss-crossed the country over 1,000 miles from Newquay to Chester. This year’s edition is focused on ‘mythbusting’, giving Team Farizon the chance to demonstrate the capability, versatility and refinement of the newest addition to the family – the V7E - as well as the improvements in the UK’s rapidly growing charging infrastructure.
