Farizon appoints CPD Bodies as its first conversion specialist and latest dealer partner

Farizon Auto UK has appointed CPD Bodies as its first body conversion specialist and dealer partner in the North East of England.
Based in Stockton-on-Tees, CPD will strengthen Farizon’s growing UK sales and aftersales network and become a strategic partner for converted panel van solutions.

CPD will provide a full range of services for the electric van brand, including vehicle sales, maintenance and repair, parts and technical support. A specialist team will support the Farizon operation, delivering expert knowledge and customer care; and a purpose-built showroom is in development, due to be fully operational in summer 2026.

One of the first Farizon products to be converted by CPD will be the innovative Good2Go Zero Welfare Van, which will be launched at the Commercial Vehicle Show on 21 April. Based on the Farizon SV large van, the model is a world first for the brand and will feature a series of advanced alterations designed specifically for utility and construction companies, Tier 1 contractors and local authorities to provide on-site support for workers.

Cathal Doocey, Chairman and Owner of CPD Bodies, said: “Our partnership with Farizon forms a key part of our ongoing strategic roadmap to deliver turnkey solutions for fleets that are efficient, effective, and support the wider decarbonisation journey many businesses are working towards. The market-leading versatility and all-electric efficiency of the SV large van is the perfect base for our cutting-edge conversions.”

Calum James, General Manager of Farizon Auto UK, added: “As What Van?’s ‘Converter of the Year’ for 2026, CPD boasts many years’ experience in producing premium conversions, making them an ideal partner for Farizon. Their expertise, combined with a dedicated retail and aftersales team, will play an important role in expanding Farizon’s presence and supporting customers across the region.”

Farizon SV

A 2026 International Van of the Year finalist, the Farizon SV features a range of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology and cell-to-pack battery packaging, which combine to deliver market-leading real-world versatility and performance. With a payload of up to 1,350 kg, load space of up to 13 m³ and an ultra-low loading height of just 550 mm, the SV sets a new benchmark in the medium-to-large van sector.

Two highly specified trim levels include premium features as standard, such as heated seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, a 360-degree surround-view camera and a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems. The higher spec models include a unique payload monitoring system, a heated windscreen and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology for powering or charging kit while on site. The SV has also achieved the highest five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The Farizon SV line-up starts from £39,000 + VAT (excluding conversions, delivery charge, VAT, ZEVG, VED and first registration fee). It is available with 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh battery options, offering a WLTP combined range between 177 miles and 247 miles, subject to version. Its efficient all-electric powertrain produces 170 kW (231 PS) of power and 336 Nm of torque. Recharging speeds of up to 140kW mean a 20–80 per cent recharge is possible in as little as 36 minutes.
